The history behind Michele watches
begins in Belgium in the 1940s. Maurice Barouh, a
young watchmaker, began a very small, seldom known watch making business. Dying
at a very young age left Maurice’s son Jack Barouh to take over the small family
business. Jack had taken over with pleasure.
Soon have the company takeover, Jack married a woman named Rita and, together,
the two had their first born child—Michele Barouh. The birth of his daughter
gave Jack a very bright idea. He was going to take his father’s little business
to a higher level. He was going to make a name for the Barouh family. The birth
of his daughter led to the birth of Michele watches, naming the company after
Jack’s daughter.
Jack started off cautiously, not sure of how successful this company would make
him. He invested in making only children’s watches, with funky designs and
colors, to start off the brand. Within a year of production, Jack became a huge
success, and began to expand his audience from children to women and men. In the
year 2000, Michele took over the company.
Michele watches have a very youthful,
yet mature, look to them. The colors of each watch are vibrant and the styles
